Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Scope of Work: (Contractor must obtain and submit all permits prior to performing any work). The Project, including mobilization and demobilization, consists of furnishing and installing via open-cut method approximately 5,380 linear feet of 8-inch Ductile Iron (DI) pipe and Mechanical Joint fittings and valves for sewage force main from Franjo Road and SW 187th Street to PS 1058 on Tiffany Drive and from PS 1058 to PS 1063 on SW 89th Place; three (3) plug valves; making one (1) tapping connection to an existing sewage force main on Franjo Road and SW 187th Street including furnishing and installing a tapping sleeve and tapping valve; making one (1) cut-in connection to an existing sanitary sewage force main connected to PS 1058 on Tiffany Drive; making one (1) connection to an existing sanitary sewage force main connected to PS 1063 on SW 89th Place; furnishing and constructing automatic air release valve assemblies for sewage force mains; polyethylene encasement for ductile iron pipe and fittings, if ordered by the Engineer; sheeting and shoring ordered left in place by the Engineer; additional suitable backfill, if needed; furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for cleaning and testing the sewage force mains; obtaining the services of a tapping specialist; obtaining the services of a State of Florida licensed asbestos contractor; cutting, dewatering, grouting, plugging and capping existing main(s) that are to be placed out of service; removal, salvage, cleaning, transport, unloading and storage of valve boxes and covers, manhole frames and covers, and castings, on existing mains that are to be placed out of service; removal of existing asphalt pavement, sidewalk and sod; removal, transport, and legal disposal of demolition material; traffic control; temporary and permanent replacement of any pavement, driveways, sidewalk, sod, hardscaping, landscaping, and pavement markings damaged by the construction of the Project to as good or better than original condition and to the satisfaction of the Department and the governing authorities; and all other appurtenant and miscellaneous items and work necessary for a complete, fully functional, and satisfactory installation.
