Renovation of a water / sewer project in Starkville, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Work on which proposals are invited consists of oxidation ditch improvements and construction of a new electrical building. The maximum time allowable for completion of said project is THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY-FIVE (365) calendar days following the City's written order to commence (Notice to Proceed). Proposals must be accompanied by a Proposal Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a 100% Payment and Performance Bond if the bid equals or exceeds $25,000. If the bid is less than $25,000, the City of Starkville may elect to make a lump sum payment at the completion of the job, in which case a payment and performance bond shall not be required. Bidders should direct questions to Matt Tabor, PE at MLTabor@GarverUSA.com. Questions may be submitted until 5:00 P.M. on July 30, 2024. The City of Starkville reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the proposal accepted. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
