The City of Starkville requests statements of qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for work related to the implementation of water and wastewater infrastructure projects The selected firm(s) will be responsible for preparing preliminary engineering reports and project cost estimates for funding source application preparations and if awarded, the selected Engineer will provide all engineering services through project closeout in accordance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and policies. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following: 1) conceptual through final design phase services including preparing plans and specifications, 2) bid phase services including preparation of bid tabulation, evaluation, recommendation and construction contract execution, 3) construction phase services as determined, and 4) special services the project or funding source may require including but not limited to survey, geotechnical investigations, structural investigations, and ROW/easement document preparation as necessary.
