2024 Fabick Nature Preserve Bathroom Restoration Question Deadline 08/15/2024 In a case of doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the Plans and Technical Specifications, or any other of the Bid Documents, any person who has obtained a copy of the Bid Documents may submit to the City an e-mail request to dhoward@fentonmo.org for an interpretation thereof no later than seven (7) days before the date set for receipt of bids. Questions or requests for interpretation submitted via phone or voicemail will not be answered Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits, etc. necessary to restore an existing bathroom building located in the Fabick Nature Preserve at 597 New Smizer Mill Road, Fenton, MO 63026, and as fully described with the Plans & Specifications Section herein, all in accordance with the terms and specifications herein Bids should be clearly marked BID OPENING: 2024 FABICK NATURE PRESERVE BATHROOM - ATTN: DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS. Bids shall be submitted on the Bid Proposal form provided. It is not anticipated that the cost of this Project is $75,000 or more to where prevailing wage would apply. However, if applicable, the successful bidder shall comply with State provisions concerning the payment of prevailing wages on public works projects. If applicable, Wage Order No. 31 would apply to this Project and is incorporated herein by reference. The successful bidder shall require all on-site employees to complete a ten-hour Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) construction safety program provided by the contractor which includes a course in construction safety and health approved by OSHA or a similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri which is at least as stringent as an approved OSHA program, as required under Subsection 292.675.2 RSMo. All employees are required to complete the program within sixty days of beginning work under this contract. The successful bidder shall also require all subcontractors under the contractor to provide the ten-hour training program required under Subsection 292.675.2 RSMo. to such subcontractors' on-site employees.
