INTRODUCTION The Gullah Geechee Heritage Preservation Project (GGHPP) is a multi-jurisdictional collaboration to support documentation, recognition and preservation of historic Gullah Geechee/African American Ancestral Communities and their significant historic and cultural sites. The GGHPP is supporting a cohort of 23 communities and individuals across Charleston County with their priority preservation projects by arranging for consulting services, connecting them with additional resources via community partners, providing training and capacity-building support, and assisting them with the development of a long-term preservation and sustainability plans. The proposed total budget for the described services is $20,000. All questions must be submitted in writing no later than 2:00pm on July 19, 2024 to robinsonr@charleston-sc.gov. CONTRACT TERMS The initial term of the Agreement shall be for one year. The City reserves the right to extend the Agreement if the City determines the extension is in its best interest; said extension will be on an annual basis and shall not exceed four (4) additional one (1) year periods.
