Site work for a water / sewer project in King George, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Purpose and Intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to establish a Unit Price Bid, from qualified sources, for a Contractor to provide all services, labor, and materials necessary for installing a water supply well on a KGC owned site in the Potomac Landing Subdivision. All work shall be in accordance with the Water Supply Well Specifications Prepared by TRC Companies and all applicable requirements of VDH and DEQ. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, traffic control, permits, excavations, drilling, coordination of water supply, drilling fluid and cuttings disposal, pumping, notification and coordination, cleanup, and all appurtenant work required to perform the work in accordance with the Water Supply Well Specifications as identified in this IFB, and in accordance with all applicable codes, and the attached Standard General Conditions. All questions must be submitted in writing directly to the King George County Procurement Specialist at the address referenced above. Questions will be accepted until 1:00 PM, August 26, 2024. Questions may be sent by fax or email. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The contract term shall be forty-five (45) days from the date of Notice to Proceed to substantial completion. An additional fifteen (15) days following substantial completion will be allowed to achieve final completion
