City of Los Banos is requesting proposals from qualified consultants to perform an update to the City's current Improvement Standards and Specifications (Improvement Standards). The City of Los Banos (herein referred to as "City") is seeking a qualified consultant (herein referred to as "Consultant") to update the City's Improvement Standards and Specifications (Improvement Standards). The goal of these Improvement Standards is to provide minimum standards to be applied to improvements and private development projects to be dedicated to the public and accepted by the City for maintenance or operation, as well as improvements to be installed within existing rights of way and easements. These standards provide for coordinated development of required facilities to be used by and for the protection of the public. These standards shall apply to and regulate the design and preparation of plans for construction of streets, highways, drainage, sewerage, street lighting, water system facilities and related public improvements. Acceptance of any proposal submitted pursuant to this Request for Proposal shall not constitute any implied intent to enter into a contract.
