The City of Lewisville is accepting Request for Proposals (RFP) to establish a contract to add underground conduit and fiber optic cable to the existing City of Lewisville Fiber Optic Network. Questions Due Date: Aug 6th 2024, 12:00 PM CDT All questions must be submitted online in the questions and answers section. Award will be based on best value as determined by the scoring matrix. All goods and services provided to the City must be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and all regulations promulgated pursuant to the ADA. The successful proposer will be required to certify compliance, if applicable. This work shall include all engineering design, project management, and construction for the installation of duct, handholes, fiber optic cables, fiber shelves, fiber terminations, fiber splices, testing of installed fiber optic cables, and other miscellaneous labor and materials required to complete the project as specified in the written specifications and any complete, detailed construction drawings. The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses, to consider alternatives, to waive any formalities and irregularities, and to re-solicit this RFP. In addition, during the evaluation period, the City may, where it may serve the City's best interest, request additional information or clarifications from responders, or allow corrections of errors or omissions. No telephone, email, or fax proposals will be accepted. Proposals may be accepted if delivered in person or by U.S. Postal Service, Federal Express, UPS, etc. or uploaded to online. The City is not responsible for missing, lost, or late delivery. Any RFP responses received after the time set for opening will be returned to the proposer unopened.
