Construction of new sidewalks, ADA ramps, driveways, and pavement so as to improve pedestrian access on various streets in downtown Atwater, CA. The Contractor must have a Class A license to perform this work. BID CALL NO.: 709-21, 1093-1200 The successful bidder will be required to obtain a City of Atwater Business License before execution of the contract at his own expense. Complete work within 60 working days. Bidders are advised that, as required by federal law, the City of Atwater is implementing Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements. Refer to the attachments in the Bid Book for further information. The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal for this project is: twenty-two percent (22%). The CITY OF ATWATER reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid or in the bidding. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bidder's bond made payable to the CITY OF ATWATER for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of bid, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract.
