Renovation of a water / sewer project in Belmont, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Contract Times (Calendar Days) Substantial / Final Payment 240 / 270 The Work will be substantially completed and ready for final payment after the date when the Contract Times commence to run as listed above. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to City of Belmont in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. The City of Belmont reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Project includes the following Work: Contract #1 Installation of approximately 4,300 LF of 8in water line and related appurtenances and to connect the proposed 8in water line with tie-ins to four (4) existing water lines. Contract #2 Installation of three (3) new 160GPM pressure filter vessels and necessary appurtenances, replacement of 27 existing air pneumatic filter valves with electric actuated filter valves, and miscellaneous electrical and mechanical improvements. Contract #3 The construction of a new 220,000 gallon water storage tank and related appurtenances, with the rehabilitation of two (2) existing 210,000 gallon water storage tanks. Estimated value - $1,000,000 QA deadline 07/31/2024
