The "Work" is related to snow clearing and de-icing of roadways, parking, walkways and around critical infrastructure on an "as and when, if required, with no guarantee of a minimum" basis supporting CRD's IWS Operations. The services are expected to be conducted 24/7 when needed, i.e. not limited to business hours. The scope of services will include, but is not limited to: The contract will be for two (2) years, beginning on the date of contract award. At the sole discretion of the CRD, the contract may be extended. Prior to the expiry of the contract, if acceptable to both parties, there will be the option to extend the contract up to three (3) additional one (1) year terms, for a maximum contract term of up to five (5) years.
