The San Antonio Water System (SAWS) is pursuing Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) for professional engineering services for the Independent Cost Estimating Services Project ("Project"). Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from interested firms (Respondents) are being accepted in connection with the Project, which will require the scope of services to be performed by qualified professional cost estimating firm (Consultant). The selected firm(s) shall provide independent cost estimating services for water, wastewater, and recycled water facilities, pipelines, and other related infrastructure projects. The selected firm(s) will prepare independent construction cost estimates in accordance with AACE guidelines and best practices including 17R- 97 and 56R-08. The anticipated services will include project management and coordination, cost estimating services, and other services as necessary for the Project. These services shall be required on an "as needed" basis. The goal of the Project is to provide independent construction cost estimates for projects with a construction value equal to or greater than $3 million. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
