Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Saint Helena, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The project includes demolition, off-haul, and installation of new concrete sidewalk, patio, and doorway entries. Engineer's Estimate: $90,000 Bidders are responsible for monitoring for addendums which may be issued up until 72 hours prior to bid opening. Complete sets of Contract Documents must be used in preparing Bids. The County does not assume responsibility for errors or misinterpretations resulting from the use of incomplete sets of Contract Documents. Bid date notes: Bids are required for the entire work called for by Specifications, and neither partial nor contingent bids will be considered. Per Public Contract Code section 20129, bids must be valid for 90 days from the date of bid opening. Bid results of the three apparent lowest bidders with their subcontractors lists will be posted to the County's website by the business day after the bids are opened and read. Pursuant to 1771.1 of the Labor Code, a contractor orsubcontractorshall not be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal, subject to the requirements of Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, as defined in Labor Code 1770 et seq., unless currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. It is not a violation of this section for an unregistered contractor to submit a bid that is authorized by Section 7029.1 of the Business and Professions Code or by Section 10164 or 20103.5 of the Public Contract Code, provided the contractor is registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 at the time the contract is awarded. Pursuant to Sections 1770, et. seq., of the California Labor Code, the contractor and allsubcontractorsshall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. Copies of such prevailing rate of per diem wages are on file at the Napa County Department of Public Works where copies will be made available to any interested party on request. These rate determinations may also be found on the State of California Department of Industrial Relations' website Contractors and subcontractors shall also submit certified payroll records, employ apprentices, and comply with working hour conditions as required by the Labor Code. The Contractor shall possess a Class "A" or "C-8" license at the time of contract award. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price and a Labor and Material Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price with good and sufficient surety.
