Site work and new construction of a fitness / recreation center in Emerson, Georgia. Working plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; and for site work for a fitness / recreation center.
The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A ground-breaking ceremony was held on April 14, 2025. The City of Cartersville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in its best interest Firms must have all necessary, valid and current licenses to do business in the State of Georgia The City of Cartersville is planning to construct the following facilities on property owned at 604 North Tennessee Street, Cartersville, GA Cartersville Recreation Center - Facility site will consist of three (3) gymnasiums, gymnastics center, elevated walking track, five (5) offices, large meeting room, restrooms: Total Sq. Footage of approximately 53,000 NOW, THEREFORE, the conditions of this obligation are such that if the proposal be accepted, the Principal shall within ten days after receipt of notification of the acceptance, execute a Contract in accordance with the Proposal and upon the terms, conditions, and prices set forth in the form and manner required by Cartersville, Georgia, and execute a sufficient and satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond payable to Cartersville, Georgia, each in the amount of 100% of the total Contract Price Questions regarding proposals should be directed to Steve Roberts, at sroberts@cityofcartersville.org no later than 3:00 P.M. on August 12, 2024.
