Bryan Texas Utilities (BTU) is requesting qualifications for engineering services from firms interested in contracting with BTU for the design of electric transmission line, substation design and construction management. The scope of work shall be specified by each project as assigned under this master agreement. Firms with relevant experience and qualifications are encouraged to submit. The purpose of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) process is to identify the most qualified firm(s.) It is intended that the selected firm(s) or team accomplish and/or supply all services outlined in this Request for Qualifications. BTU has made no promises or representations and cannot offer, promise or guarantee that the selected firm will be awarded any future contracts to provide additional engineering services to BTU. Anticipated annual transmission capital projects range from $20M to $30M for the next 5 years. This is a Master Service Agreement which provides for the performance of engineering and related services for multiple projects over a specific period of time. This agreement provides for general terms and conditions which shall govern the relationships and performance of the Engineer and BTU for the various projects involved with this agreement. Each assigned project will further describe the particular scope, specific services, work schedule, and cost or estimated cost of the work performed. The Firm agrees to provide all services and equipment necessary to perform the work described by any given project with the time frame set forth pursuant to the Standard Fee Schedule provided by Firm and incorporated into the Master Service Agreement.
