To replace existing Concrete Vegetated Crib Retaining Wall with new Durahold Block retaining wall and repair and modify existing adjacent Durahold Block retaining wall. Construction of the replacement Tulameen Ave. Retaining Wall principally consists of the following: 1. Excavation of existing retaining wall, backfill and associated roadway materials including the disposal of concrete and asphalt, and replacement of existing roadway granular materials and asphalt. 2. Transporting and installing Owner-supplied Durahold Blocks including supply and installation of geogrid with supply, installation and compaction of backfill materials complete with cast-in-place concrete transition to existing Durahold Block Wall at the east end and reconstruction of the existing Durahold Block Wall at the west end to facilitate transition and chain-link fencing along the top of the wall. 3. Reinstatement of roadway structure including supply, installation and compaction of granular roadway materials and asphalt pavement inclusive of re-instatement of concrete roadside barrier, painting of lines and reinstallation of signage. 4. Traffic Control including closure of Tulameen A venue and installation, maintenance and removal of Detor during Construction. 5. Protection of existing Utilities during Construction. 6. Seeding Disturbed Areas upon completion of the Work. 7. Safety during and upon completion of work. 8. Clean up during and upon completion of work.
