Renovation of a municipal facility in Princeton, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The proposal as detailed must follow the proposed scope of work, which is detailed as follows: a) Site Assessment 1. Perform on-site inspection of existing equipment and ductwork 2. Confirm suitability of existing ducts and electrical systems for the new gas furnace and heat pump installation b) System Design 1. Recommend appropriate capacity gas furnace and heat pump system(s) based on building load 2. Specify zoning controls (thermostats and dampers, if applicable) 3. Propose solutions for minimizing disruption during installation c) Equipment & Installation 1. Remove existing Electric furnaces and associated components 2. Remove existing HRV unit 3. Supply and install high-efficiency gas furnace and heat pump system(s) 4. SEER/SEER2 and HSPF ratings to meet or exceed ENERGY STAR standards 5. Variable-speed compressor preferred 6. Provide all necessary duct modifications, electrical upgrades, and refrigerant lines 7. Install smart thermostats (2-zone control) 8. Install new HRV unit and balance system d) Testing & Commissioning 1. Start-up and test all systems for proper operation 2. Verify airflow, refrigerant charge, and temperature control for each zone e) Training & Documentation 1. Provide basic operational training for staff 2. Deliver all manuals, warranty information, and final documentation Cancelled.
