OPWDD is soliciting quotes from responsible and qualified MWBE, SDVOB or NYS small business contractors to provide a Roof replacement service to Sunmount DDSO, 3 Sports Ave SOIRA. This procurement opportunity is limited to New York State Small Businesses, New York State businesses certified pursuant to Articles 15-A and 17-B of the New York State Executive Law - Empire State Development Corporation Certified Minority or Woman Owned business (MWBE) or New York State Office of General Services Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB) only. Please provide a copy of your firm's certification documents when submitting a quote. Contract term: 1 year SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Remove the existing asphalt shingle roofing system complete down to the existing wood decking. Any damaged decking will be quoted and result in a change order. 2. Provide and install a new 30-year asphalt shingle roofing system complete, including all flashings, underlayment's, ice barriers, venting, accessories, and other roofing materials as required for a complete system. 3. Remove and replace exhaust vent covers as per existing, typical. Exhaust vents must be installed to go above the roof line per code requirements. 4. Remove and replace drip edge at all eaves and gables, typical. 5. Flash all penetrations, typical. 6. Remove and replace ridge vents on all ridges, typical. Verify soffits are continuous vented along eave line everywhere. Venting is required for roof systems over conditioned spaces. 7. No asbestos-containing materials may be used.
