Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Overland Park, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; and for paving for a fitness / recreation center.
The project includes, but not limited to, adding a roofing system with internal drains on top of the existing canopy, storefront system modifications, concrete sidewalk, and road replacement, with some underground utility work. There is a side yard that will be developed into an outdoor exercise area. It will be built-up to the level of the recreation center and have artificial turf installed in the yard, sunscreen canopies, retaining wall, decorative cmu, decorative fence, gates, and concrete stairs to the sidewalk below. This project will be phased to accommodate the facility remaining open during construction. All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by bid bond, or certified check made payable to the Blue Valley Recreation Commission, in an amount of not less than five (5) percent of the total bid amount. Blue Valley Recreation Commission (BVRC) reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities as it determines to be in the best interest of Blue Valley Recreation Commission (BVRC).
