This project will help support the objectives of the government's greening strategy to transition the vehicle fleet to plug-in electric and hybrid vehicles. The awarded consultant to provide the design development plans and specifications, class estimates, construction administration, commissioning, and close-out documentation for Base Building (BB) Electric Vehicle Charging Systems infrastructure installation in existing buildings and facilities. Consultant to allow for a minimum of two site visits per location. Brief Overview: Review existing electrical load capacity for each building, and design electrical and associated infrastructure required to render the facilities Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) ready. This project will help support the objectives of the government's greening strategy to transition the vehicle fleet to plug-in electric and hybrid vehicles. The awarded consultant to provide the design development plans and specifications, class estimates, construction administration, commissioning, and close-out documentation for Base Building (BB) Electric Vehicle Charging Systems infrastructure installation in existing buildings and facilities. The Consultants scope includes completing an Infrastructure Readiness Assessment (IRA) which will determine how many EVCS the current load capacity can accommodate. Consultant is required to visit each site a minimum of two (2) times. One visit after award to collect required site information and the second visit will be at substantial completion.
