Description

Renovation of an educational facility in Edmonton, Alberta. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Agriculture/Forestry Centre Greenhouse Heating System Renewal project. The Agriculture Forestry building on the University of Alberta campus was originally constructed in the mid 1970's and part of the original design for the facility was to have three main greenhouses on the roof of the 4th floor and accessed from a head house on the 5th floor. The greenhouses are generally as per original construction and have significant deferred maintenance. The evaporative cooling units are past life and need to be replaced. The controls and electrical distribution supplying power/controls to the coolers are original and will have to be assessed as part of this design. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Further update may be published once the project has been approved to bid for construction.
