Renovation of a water / sewer project in Elk Grove, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of August 23, 2024 project has not been awarded. Anticipated award date is on August 29, 2024.** ESTIMATED CONTRACT COST: $350,000 This project is to remove an existing built-up roof and install a new TPO roof over the existing concrete deck. The roof replacement includes one access ladder replacement. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to determine which bid, in the judgment of the Board, is the lowest responsive bid of a responsible bidder. The bidder shall be licensed under the provisions of Chapter 9, Division 3, of the Business and Professions Code of the State of California, to do the type of work contemplated in the project, and shall be skilled and regularly engaged in the general class or type of work called for under the Contract. Pursuant to California Labor Code Section 1720 and following, and Section 1770 and following, the successful bidder shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations. Each bid must be submitted on the bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond issued by a corporate surety, a certified check or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the Sacramento Area Sewer District, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
