Annual On-Call Requirements Contracts - Contracts M & E (Mechanical Maintenance and Emergency Services & Electrical Maintenance and Emergency Services). Each bid must be accompanied by either a certified check drawn on a solvent bank with an office in the State of New York, or a bid bond in an amount of $1,000.00 and payable to the Locust Valley Water District. This amount shall be the measure of liquidated damage sustained by the Water District as a result of the failure, negligence or refusal of the Bidder to whom the Contract is awarded to execute and deliver the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner. Doc Notes: Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Information for Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs.
