Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Mound City, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
Demolition of an existing bridge and the construction of a new 75-foot single span prestressed concrete NU girder bridge. Guardrail, riprap and permanent erosion control will be installed along with any other incidental work in accordance with plans and specifications. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The Holt County Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The project will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The DBE Goal for this project is 4%.
