All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CDT) on Monday, August 12, 2024 The County desires to hire Vendor to provide all necessary labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies to perform highly technical work with critical infrastructure providing power and control to various equipment at the Bay County Water Treatment Plant. This project will replace/add variable frequency drives, a 2500 KVA transformer, duct banks and conduit, wiring, and other appurtenances as described in Exhibit 1. The contractor shall install and test all items to ensure quality craftsmanship and warranty requirements are met. The Bay County Board of County Commissioners (County) seeks bids from qualified Contractors for the installation of variable frequency drives, a 2500 KVA transformer, duct banks and conduit, wiring, and other appurtenances at the Bay County Water Treatment Plant located at 3400 Transmitter Road, Panama City, FL 32404. This project consists of highly technical work with critical infrastructure providing power and control to various equipment at the Bay County Water Treatment Plant. The variable frequency drives, switchboard, additional electrical feed and transformer will be provided by the County and FP&L. HVAC equipment and installation is not included in this solicitation. Funding for the project may be made possible through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and is contingent on strict conformance to the guidelines set forth by Federal Procurement and Contract Standards.
