Submit all written questions via email to the contact person indicated on the cover page of
this IFB package no later than the date and time specified in Section 5, Schedule of
Events. Written responses to IFB questions will be released by the date and time specified
in the Schedule of Events and viewable in the online project advertisement in Cal eProcure
at: https://caleprocure.ca.gov/pages/index.aspx. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supplies, permits, materials, and
incidentals necessary to demolish and remove a real property structure, abate hazardous
materials to include, but not be limited to, friable and non-friable asbestos and lead paint,
according to all environmental laws and regulations at 5355 N. Golden State Blvd, Fresno,
CA 93722 (collectively referred to as Work).
B. Term: August 01, 2024 or upon Agreement approval, whichever occurs later, through
July 31, 2025, with an Authority option to extend for an additional twelve (12) months.
See Exhibit A, Scope of Work, for a complete description of services. The Authority established a Small and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise
Program on August 2, 2012. This IFB incorporates by reference the Authority's
revised SB/DVBE/DBE Program dated November 2, 2023, which establishes a
twenty-five (25) percent SB utilization goal, inclusive of a three (3) percent goal
for Microbusinesses (MB) that is calculated based on total contract dollars
received from state funds. Additionally, the SB/DVBE/DBE Program sets an
additional three (3) percent DVBE participation goal. DVBE and DBE goals are
calculated based on total contract dollars. (The Authority's SB Program is
available on the Authority's website.) The Contractor shall be responsible for
complying with any revised or modified Authority SB Program, including all
reporting requirements.
