Site work for a municipal facility in Friant, California. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

Provide all labor, tools, equipment, materials, incidentals, permits and taxes necessary to repair or replace two fuel pumps, construct a concrete pad, and other miscellaneous work. The location of services shall be performed at San Joaquin Hatchery 17372 Brook Trout Drive, Friant, CA 93626, Fresno County License Required: A or B or C-36. Notice of Intent to Award: August 7, 2024 Proposed Award Date: September 2024 Proposed Start of Construction Date: November 2024 For general questions pertaining to the bidding requirements, please contact Engineering at 916-376-8648. Construction shall be completed within THIRTY (30) WORKING DAYS following the official "Notice of Start Date" from the State to the Contractor to commence construction. Additional contract time will be allowed for delay caused by shortage of materials, provided the Contractor advises Engineer IN WRITING within 15 days from the beginning of such delay and provided the Contractor has made diligent effort to get supplies from known sources. Bids of $5,000 and over shall have enclosed, a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or a Bidder's Bond executed as surety by a corporation authorized to issue surety bonds in the State of California, made payable to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount bid. When the Contract Sum exceeds twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), Contractor must furnish, in duplicate, a Payment Bond, to accompany the Contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum securing payment for laborers, mechanics, and materials suppliers used on the Work under the Contract. Payment Bonds must be prepared on a Payment Bond to Accompany Construction Contract (STD 807) as furnished by State. (PCC 7103) B. When the Contract Sum exceeds ten thousand dollars ($10,000), Contractor must furnish, in duplicate, a Performance Bond, to accompany the Contract, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum guaranteeing faithful performance of the Work. Performance Bonds must be prepared on Performance Bond (FG-188) as furnished by the State. This may be waved by the department for small business/DVBE contracts and Emergency Contracts. The awarding agency reserves the right to reject all bids. The agency is not required to award an agreement. The Bidder may count toward its 25% Small Business participation goal, the dollar value of work and supplies to be obtained by its primary subcontractors and suppliers from SB subcontractor firms as second and third level tier subcontractors/suppliers.
