The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha, d/b/a/ Metro request from qualified certified companies to perform the diagnosis, analysis, and submission of documents of bus CNG tank/cylinder system inspection. 7-22-2024 Request for Clarification or Substitution 7-29-2024 Responses to Clarifications of Substitution 8-12-2024 Contract Award Metro is requesting proposals from qualified certified companies to perform the diagnosis, analysis, and submission of documents of bus CNG tank/cylinder system inspection per U.S DOT's FMVSS 304 and NFPA 52 sect. The CNG tanks and fuel system need to be inspected for leaks, wear, and damage for the safe functioning and operation of the vehicles. Metro fleet has a total of up to 257 tanks that will need inspection. Vehicles will be inspected only if the vehicle is in service. This work consists of all labor, tools, and equipment required for procurement services, as well as all bonds, permits, and insurance necessary for this project and as required by Federal and State Laws and City Ordinances; and the general mobilization of equipment required for the completion of the work as stated in the Request for Quotes (RFQ) Documents. The quote proposal shall include all permits and fees, as required, to perform the project, unless otherwise noted in the Request for Quotes (RFQ) Documents. The Regional Metropolitan Transit Authority of Omaha acquires supplemental services from outside vendors to maintain an acceptable equipment quality. This includes, but is not limited to, the inspection of our vehicle CNG tanks and fuel system.
