Sidewalk Snow and Ice Removal in the Northwest Quadrant in the City of Omaha: City of Omaha is requesting bids from qualified companies, herein called Bidder, Contractor, Vendor, Supplier, or other pronouns used in their place, for all work and/or goods set forth in the specifications. SCOPE: This work shall consist of completely removing any snow, ice or hard packed snow from the sidewalks within the City Right-of-Way adjacent to private and/or commercial property within a designated quadrant of the City of Omaha. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a certified check, an official bank check, cashier's check drawn on a national bank or a bank chartered under the laws of the State of Nebraska, payable to the City or a duly executed Bid bond (on the form included in the Bidding Documents) issued by a duly licensed corporate surety meeting the requirements of Paragraphs 6.01 and 6.02 of the General Conditions. The successful BIDDER will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds as described in Section 00 72 13 - General Conditions. Anticipated Notice to Proceed date: Friday, November 1, 2024. City of Omaha reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any or all bids.
