Infrastructure Repairs (Rehabilitation) (2025) Contract A The Engineers Opinion of Probable Cost for this project is $5,000,000. The Work to be done under this contract consists of the rehabilitation of approximately 73,397 lineal feet of sanitary sewers varying in size from 6-inch to 30-inch in diameter, utilizing cured-in- place pipe (CIPP) methods. The project is within the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District Boundaries, inside the city(ies) of St. Louis and various municipalities in St. Louis County and unincorporated St. Louis County in the State of Missouri. The work will be performed in various quantities at various sites. The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (District) has established a goal for Minority Business Enterprise (10% MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (10% WBE) utilization for construction contracts with State of Missouri and a goal for Minority Business Enterprise (10% MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (5% WBE) for Federally Funded. Workforce goal requirements of 14.7% Minority, 6.9% Women apply to contracts in the amount of $10,000 or more. The requirements are further explained in the attached Business Diversity Utilization and Workforce Program document. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, offers or proposals submitted, to accept the proposal that it deems to be to its best interest, or to advertise for new bids. The District reserves the right to defer the acceptance of any proposal and the award and execution of a contract for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days after the date of opening the bids. The successful bidder, whose proposal has been accepted, shall sign the Contract in duplicate, and return the signed documents within fifteen (15) days after the date of their receipt. At the same time the successful bidder shall also file with the District two (2) copies of a Construction Performance Bond and a Construction Payment Bond, each for one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount; and an acceptable Certificate of Insurance and Insurance Binder or policy for the required insurance coverage.
