The Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility (AWWU) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to render professional engineering services for a Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) receiving and processing facility. The project will provide a location to dispose of FOG, mainly generated in the Municipality of Anchorage, within Anchorage. The facility is intended to reduce the amount of FOG entering the wastewater system. Work under this project consists of designing and preparing construction bid documents for the "FOG Receiving Station" project. AWWU reserves the option to amend the contract to include construction management and inspection services. Proposers are encouraged to provide an overview of their capacity to provide construction management and inspection services; however, evaluation of this RFP will be based solely on the design through construction bidding support phases.
