Question Deadline 08/19/2024 at 10:00 PM CT The Iowa DOT is seeking competitive bids for an Iowa licensed contractor to remove and replace the DOT maintenance facility Brine building in Pocahontas, as per the attached plans and specifications. Contractor to properly dispose of all materials from existing building and to maintain the safety of the site during the demolition of existing building and construction of new building as per the attached plans and specifications. Work to be done during regular working hours and days M - F 7:00 am to 3:30 pm CT, coordinating with site supervisor for day-to-day operations. Site location: 405 NW 7th Street Pocahontas, IA 50574 A Bid Bond is not required for this solicitation. A Performance Bond will be required of only the Awarded Contractor (see Attribute #3). Inspection by Iowa State Building Code Bureau. Awarded Contractor to adhere to warranty as defined in specifications. Awarded contractor must be an Iowa licensed, bonded and insured contractor. Electricians must be Iowa licenses bonded and insured.
