The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking qualified and capable contractors to submit offers for a door replacement project located in Longmont, Colorado. This procurement is being set aside for a small business under NAICS code 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, which has a small business size standard of $45.0 Million. Estimated size of this project: Between $750,000 and $1,000,000. Work included in project: 1) Replace doors and hardware sets for 75 interior doors (21 double door leaves, 53 single door leaves, and one open double door frame). Performance information obtained may be used for both the responsibility determination and the best value decision. 1b) Door Contractor (if prime not performing door work) - Provide at least two (2) past performance surveys (RFO Attachment #3) filled out by previous customers of your proposed door subcontractor on projects similar in size, scope, and complexity, to the work described in this RFO. The Government may use information obtained from other-than the sources identified by the offeror. The Government will rate the contractor/subcontractor based on information in the following areas: 1. Safety. 2. Ability to manage project cost (i.e., minimize change orders). 3. Ability to maintain project schedule (i.e., completion within allotted contract time). 4. Efficiency in project coordination and scheduling of trades. 5. Administrative responsiveness (communication with Government, prompt payments to subcontractors, etc.). 6.
