The University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) is soliciting qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) services for Repair of the Manzanita Lake Pedestrian Path project which is situated in the University of Nevada Reno Historic District and along the Orr Ditch. The repaired path will establish an accessible route around the entire lake by removing and reestablishing portions of the path where worn beyond their useful life, damaged, and/or inaccessible. The path will connect the northern portion of the route near Jot Travis Student Union to the southern walk south of the Orr Ditch along the west side of Clark Administration to allow a continuous wheelchair accessible route around the entire lake. The repair of the path may include walkways, patios, seating areas, lake overlooks, ramps, railings, benches, lighting, points of interest, bridges, and other potential landscape features to enhance the route with a beautification effort fitting for this significant historical area of campus.
