Sand Hollow Well 2 Rehabilitation. Seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide mechanical and chemical rehabilitation services for Sand Hollow Well 2 (procurement item). This courtesy posting is an advertisement of a procurement opportunity for Washington County Water Conservancy District, not the Division of Purchasing. Responses should be directed to the designated individual/office as designated in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing does not accept responses for courtesy postings. The contract award for this solicitation will not be posted on this website. Instead, you will need to contact the designated individual/office as identified in the solicitation document. This solicitation posting will be canceled/closed upon the closing date of this solicitation; however, a vendor's response will still be evaluated by Washington County Water Conservancy District's described in the solicitation document. The Division of Purchasing is neither the issuing or conducting procurement unit for this solicitation, as such it is the vendor's responsibility to review the entire solicitation in order to comply with any requirements. Questions shall be received by the cutoff date and time of July 25, 2024, 5:00 PM. Please email Emily Kagan if you intend to submit a proposal so that we may notify you if an addendum to this RFP is made. Scope of Work The scope of work for the project include the following services: o Acquisition of required permits for well rehabilitation and waste disposal. o Supply of chemicals as recommended by Water Systems Engineering. All chemicals must meet ANSI/NSF Standard 60. o Supply of all labor, equipment, and parts necessary to rehabilitate well. o Mechanical and chemical cleaning in adherence to Utah Administrative Code R655-4-13 and according to recommendations in Water Systems Engineering lab report included as Exhibit A. o Disposal of liquid and solid wastes according to applicable regulations. o Final disinfection of well according to AWWA Standards C654-03 and A100-06 as modified in Utah Administrative Code R309-515-6 (11). District to verify treatment and rehabilitation by camera inspection before final disinfection. Sand Hollow Well 2 is a 600-foot-deep well with an 18-inch diameter stainless steel screen with mild steel blanks. Proposals may be rejected for any of the reasons set forth in Utah Code Annotated, Section 63G-6a-120, including but not limited to the following circumstances: Proposals that are not responsive, that violate a requirement of this Request for Proposals, or that are not submitted before the submission deadline will be rejected. A vendor whose proposal receives a score of zero for any of the evaluation criteria identified below in Table 1 or a total score of less than sixty (60) will be determined not responsible and the vendor's proposal will be rejected. Washington County Water Conservancy District (district) is a water conservancy district organized and existing under the Utah Water Conservancy Act. The district is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide mechanical and chemical rehabilitation services for Sand Hollow Well 2 (procurement item).
