Renovation of a municipal facility in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
CAT6a (Minimum) o 38 total connections for the 911 side (Replacing the connections that are there now) o Six (6) for each of the six (6) 911 workstations. o Two (2) for the printer (one plus a spare). o Same termination points in the Server Room as today (rack mounted patch panels). o Same termination points at the workstations as today (floor jacks under the workstations). o Same termination points as the existing printer (wall plate). o Clean-up old wires under the floor in both the server room and main call-taking area. TIMELINE: Tender from general contractors closed at the owner in July 2024 however, no compliant bids were received. Another contractor was selected by the owner thereafter; further details have not been released for publication. Construction has been completed.
