Upon the completion of the improvements defined in this RFP (Project), the facility will be re-rated to an 11 MGD max month flow capacity with a Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD5) loading capacity of 28,100 lbs. BOD/day. The project is generally concentrated around improvements to the existing secondary treatment process in order to improve and enhance the BNR process. In addition, other improvements are planned throughout the facility to address aging infrastructure and redundancy concerns at critical points within the facility.
