Although any addenda issued will be transmitted to all prime bidders who request bid documents, it shall be the Bidder's responsibility to make inquiry as to any Addenda issued in accordance with LA 38:2212. Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid security, which may be a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond, for an amount not less than 5% of the amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Bossier City, Louisiana. An acceptable performance/payment bond equal to 100% of the contract price along with a maintenance bond equal to 10% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder. Additionally, a Builder's Risk Insurance Policy in an amount not less than $8,000,000.00 but an amount deemed sufficient by the contractor to include buildings, furniture, fixtures and equipment. On any bids submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, the Contractor shall be licensed under Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2150-2163 and show his license number on the bid and on the envelope in which it is submitted.
