Site work for a water / sewer project in Baxter, Kentucky. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This contract consists of connecting to an existing concretemanhole, approximately 65 LF of 8- inch gravity sewer, approximately 30 LF of 12 steel casingroad bore, 1-4 foot diameterconcrete manhole, and a 2,310gpd cluster sewer system plusall necessary appurtenances. No bonding will be required. No Bidder may withdraw hisbid for a period of ninety (90)days. The Bidder awarded thecontract shall furnish insuranceas required in the General Conditions. This contract shall becompleted within 120 calendardays after date of authorizationto start work. Liquidated damages will be $800 per calendarday. Black Mountain Utility Districtreserves the right to reject anyand all bids and waive informalities. Bidders must have experience with similar type projectsand be appropriately licensedto install septic systems in theState of Kentucky. A list of references will be requested andthoroughly reviewed.
