IFB North Interceptor Sewer Replacement Project - Phase 1A. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. 5% bid deposit with bid submission. 100% Performance & Payment Bond with contract. Prevailing Wage. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities and to award a contract in its best interest. The Work includes the following major items: a. Replacement of approximately 640 linear feet of existing sanitary sewer piping with new 12-inch PVC gravity sewer piping. b. Replacement of three (3) manholes with new precast concrete manholes. three (3) service laterals, and trench repair. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. c. Lateral connections to five (5) existing sewer services. Question Deadline 07/26/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted to the Town of Longmeadow Purchasing Department, Attn: Chad Thompson - Director of Procurement, 735 Longmeadow Street, Suite 101, Longmeadow, MA 01106, fax: 413-565-4370, email: cthompson@longmeadow.org in writing. In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Engineer at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids.
