Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Stanberry, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.
The proposed work includes the removal of the existing bridge and construction of a 93ft long x 24.5ft wide steel girder bridge on concrete abutments supported by driven piles. The project also includes the placement of rock blanket, minor embankment work, and a bolt on steel guardrail. The project will have some new fence and seeding. The road within the project area will receive a 4 thick layer of crushed stone. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 of the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. Question Deadline 08/12/2024 A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE goal for this project is 4%. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids The Contract, if awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder who provides the lowest price complying with the Conditions of the Contract Documents within the Owner's budget.
