Renovation of a water / sewer project in Palo Alto, California. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

**As of August 16, 2024 no bids received. Have plans to re-bid this Project soon. Install storm water pump stations at 3600 West Bayshore Road and 3803 East Bayshore Road on private properties. The pump stations will be installed on landscape areas on private properties. The project consists of upgrading the existing storm water trunk lines that connects to the pump stations. The purpose of the project is to mitigate flooding both at West Bayshore Road and East Bayshore Road. Question and Clarifications Due Date and Time: August 2, 2024, 1:00pm. Question Response Deadline :August 7, 2024, 5:00pm. Work Commences (Tentative): October 15, 2024. Works Ends (Tentative): January 8, 2026. For all Bids greater than $25,000, Bidders shall submit a Bid security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the Bid including all Bid Alternates. Bid security shall be submitted on or before the Bid due date, in accordance with the Bid Security section of this IFB or delivered separately on or before the Bid due date in the form of a certified check or cashier's check with reference to this Bid number and project name. The Bid Security of Bidders who do not qualify as the lowest responsible bidder shall be returned to such Bidders no later than sixty (60) days from the date of award of contract unless extended by written agreement. Performance, Payment (Labor and Materials) Surety Bonds Within ten (10) business days of issuance of the Notice of Award, the selected Bidder shall furnish City a Performance Surety Bond, and Payment Surety Bond. Both bonds shall be in the amount of 100% of the Contract Sum, and in accordance with requirements contained in the General Conditions of this IFB. Withdrawal of Bid Prior to the date and time set for the opening of Bids, a Bidder who has submitted a bid and accepted the terms and conditions in the City's electronic procurement system, may withdraw its bid by clicking "Unsubmit" at any time before the deadline for the receipt of Bids as specified in the IFB. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of Bids or until the City returns the Bid Security, subject to applicable California Law and Palo Alto Municipal Code Section 2.30.460(c), whichever occurs first. Addenda The City reserves the right to issue a written Addendum or Addenda to the electronic solicitation prior to the bid closing date and time. During the Bid process there may be changes to the Contract Documents, which would require an issuance of an addendum or Addenda. City disclaims any and all liability for loss, or damage to any Bidder who does not receive any addendum issued by City in connection with this IFB. Any Bidder by submitting a Bid waives any and all claims and demands Bidder may have against City on account of the failure of delivery of any such Addendum to Bidder. Any and all Addenda issued by City shall be deemed included in this IFB, and the provisions and instructions therein contained shall be incorporated into any Bid submitted by Bidder. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $7M.
