Renovation of a municipal facility in Butler, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of October 2, 2024, the project was awarded to the following MASSARO CORPORATION (GC) - $686,000.00 Merit Electrical Group, Inc. (EC) - $426,000.00 R & B Mechanical Inc. (HVAC) - $284,600.00 Renick Brothers Construction Co. (PLUMBING) - $67,191.00, total awarded amount of $1,463,791. Bids County of Butler Butler County Government Center Renovations - Register of Wills and Domestic Relations Butler County is receiving separate sealed bids for the following contracts: Contract #1 - General Construction Contract #2 - Plumbing Contract #3 - Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Contract #4 - Electrical Contract #5 - Fire Sup- pression The Project consists of Multiple Prime Construction of renovations to the Register of Wills and Domestic Relations Departments located in the Butler County Government Center. Any questions regarding the project must be submitted via the "messages" feature in online no later than August 14, 2024 at 11:00 A.M All persons or entities submitting bids must attend this pre bid conference. Failure to attend this mandatory pre bid conference will result in the disqualification of the bidder from bidding to perform the work and their bid will not be opened. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, or certified check or cashier's check, payable to the County of Butler, in the amount of not less than ten percent. The County of Butler reserves the right to waive any informality in and to accept or reject any and all bids or any part of any bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days. Bidders will be required to submit an executed anti-collision statement with the Bid. The estimated cost of this project is greater than Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply. The County of Butler reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities in the best interest of the County PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. Summary Project Description: Interior alterations to existing tenant spaces, including reconfiguration of non-load bearing walls and new finish work.. B. Contract Scope: demolition and renovation. C. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum).
