The purpose of this contract is to make drainage improvements to various locations throughout Sussex County. These drainage improvements will vary and may include, but not be limited to: replacing or installing new crossroad pipes of various types and sizes, installing new drainage systems, installing entrance pipes, installing or replacing manholes, drainage inlets, curbing and other drainage structures, ditching, and the restoration of roadways and surrounding areas by use of paving, grading, placing of topsoil and hydroseed, riprap, and any other work required to complete each work order. There may be peak hour restrictions for some locations, which will be addressed at the issuance of the work order. If a location(s) requires night work, the associated nightwork MOT items will be negotiated separately. Work consists of compensating the contractor for each remobilization of all equipment and accessories required between each issued work order. The mobilization item is not intended to compensate the contractor for mobilization to each work location within an issued work order.
