A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Kalamazoo County Government (hereinafter the County) invites interested, experienced, and qualified firms (hereinafter referred to as the Respondents) to submit bids to complete repairs of one hangar building owned and maintained by the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport (hereinafter the "Airport"). The hangar is located at 2811 Milham Road, Kalamazoo, Michigan, 49002. Questions regarding this IFB shall be emailed to Georgia Bryant, Purchasing Manager, at glbrya@kalcounty.com. The deadline for questions is July 23, 2024 All bidders, including subcontractors, with bids in excess of $50,000 must be prequalified through the Kalamazoo County responsible bidder program or your bid will be disqualified. Your qualification is only good for one year. Respondents must provide one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days for acceptance by the County from the due date for receipt of bids. The County reserves the right to reject any bids without penalty, re-solicit for new bids, and temporarily or permanently abandon the project. The County makes no representations, written or oral, that it will enter into any form of agreement with any Respondent to this IFB for any project, and no such representation is intended or should be construed by the issuance of this IFB. The County also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in bids and/or negotiate separately the terms and conditions of all or any part of the bids as deemed to be in the County's best interests at its sole discretion, even though not the lowest cost.
