Scope Full range or services to design, publicly bid, construct and close out project. Services included but not limited to architecture, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, plumbing, environmental, sustainability, and accessibility. New Community Center & Resiliency HUB at (AMP-1) Willis Ave. Family Development. Existing Community Center to be demolised and is located at 148 Exchange Ave., Medford, MA. Time Period for Completed Project 30 months. Questions must be sent in writing to Gabriel Ciccariello at gciccariello@medfordhousing.org no later than the close ofbusiness on Friday, August 9, 2024 SCOPE OF WORK The Scope ofwork includes, but is not limited to: o An assessment of all code issues, site issues, and location ofnew community building o The MHA anticipates that unsuitable or contaminated soils may be present on site. (C) A community space that is able to be subdivided approx. 2,000 to 3,000sf o Office area for community center staff o Restrooms as required by code o Community kitchen. Not a commercial kitchen o Healthy indoor air quality is ofkey importance. Material selection should be Focused on non-toxic choices. Mechanical systems will have high level ofoutside air Circulation throughout the building. o Medford, MA has adopted the Stretch Code, so new building must meet Stretch Code o All associated MEP, site, environmental, and structural work associated with the building
