Renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility in Boardman, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a warehouse / distribution facility.
Supply all Labor, Materials and Equipment for installation of 7 inflatable Rail Dock Shelters @ Port of Morrow Cold Storage Warehouse. Port of Morrow reserves the right to award or reject for good cause, any or all bids, or to postpone the award of the contract upon finding that it is in the public interest to do so. Each bid must contain a statement as to whether the bidder is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279a.120. The bidder is subject to all requirements regarding the payment of Prevailing Wage Rates per Public Works Project ORS 279c.800 to 279C.850. The Port of Morrow may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the Port that it is in the public interest to do so. Volunteered alternate bids will be evaluated by the Owner and may be the basis for award of a contract The bidder must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board. Work consists of, but may not be limited to, the following estimated unit cost quantities. The Contractor shall provide an email address, a mailing address and phone number when plans are requested. Work consists of: Supply All Labor, Materials and Equipment necessary to install 7 Rail Dock Shelters at Port of Morrow Cold Storage per specifications. This is a PORT OF MORROW Public Works Project. Bidders must be as specified in Section 00120.00 of the Special Provisions for this Project. The CONTRACTOR will be responsible for initiating, maintaining, and supervising all safety precautions and programs in connection with the WORK. He will take all necessary precautions for the safety of, and will provide the necessary protection to prevent damage, injury or loss to all employees on the WORK and other persons who may be affected thereby, all the WORK and all materials or equipment to be incorporated therein, whether in storage on or off the site, and other property at the site or adjacent thereto, including trees, shrubs, lawns, walks, pavements, roadways, structures and utilities not designated for removal, relocation or replacement in the course of construction. 11.2 The CONTRACTOR will comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, and orders of any public body having jurisdiction. He will erect and maintain, as required by the conditions and progress of the WORK, all necessary safeguards for safely and protection. He will notify owners of adjacent utilities when prosecution of the WORK may affect them. The CONTRACTOR will remedy all damage, injury or loss to any property caused. directly or indirectly, ill whole or in part, by the CONTRACTOR, any SUBCONTRACTOR or anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them or anyone for whose acts any of them be liable except damage or loss attributable to the fault of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS or to the acts or omissions of the OWNER or the ENGINEER or anyone employed by either of them or anyone for whose acts either of them may be liable, and not attributable, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part to the fault or negligence of the CONTRACTOR
