Description

Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Santa Clara, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of Santa Clara is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide engineering design services to prepare the design and construction bid documents (plans, specifications, and engineer's estimate - PS&E) for public works bidding of the Uncontrolled Crosswalks Improvements - Phase II Project. The requested engineering design services involve preliminary engineering, detailed design, bidding and award support, and construction support. The Project contemplates improvements to pedestrian street crossings at 13 locations throughout the City and generally involves the installation of Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB), installation or modification of concrete ADA curb ramps and/or curb extensions/bulb-outs, signing and pavement markings, and restoration of impacted surface features (pavement and sidewalks) as needed. Deadline for questions and objections: July 31, 2024 at 3:00 PM PT Questions pertaining to this RFP should be submitted via online . It is anticipated that services under the agreement(s) may be provided through December 31, 2027 to address construction completion and close-out of the project. Submit one (1) electronic copy of the proposal clearly marked as such. The electronic copy shall be one (1) complete Adobe(R) PDF file, or equivalent, and not multiple files. Please note that the maximum file size able to be received by the City's e-mail system is 20 MB.
