Softball Field Construction Blue Ridge School District. The Contract Will Be Written to Retain 10% for Each Request for Payment. When the Contract is 50% Completed, No Further Retainage Will Be Withheld, but No Retainage Previously Withheld Will Be Returned to the Contractor. All Retainage Withheld During the Irst 50% of the Work Will Be Held Until Completion. However, the Architect Must Approve the Application for Payment. The Contractor Must Be Making Satisfactory Progress and There Must Be No Speciic Cause for Greater Withholding. Question Deadline 07/30/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Softball Field Construction If, After Ifteen (15) Days the Bidder Shall Fail to Execute Said Contract and Bond, the Bid Bond Shall Be Forfeited to the Owner as Liquidated Damages. The Bid Bond of All the Bid Bond of the Three Low Bidders for Each Prime Contract Will Be Returned Within Three Days After the Executed Contracts and Required Bonds Have Been Approved by the Owner. A Bid Bond Made Payable to the Blue Ridge School District in the Amount of 10% of Each Base Bid Shall Accompany Each Bid, Executed by the Contractor and a Surety Company Licensed to Do Business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as a Guarantee That, if the Bid is Accepted, the Bidder Shall Execute the Proposed Contract and Shall Furnish and Pay for a Performance and Payment Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Contract Price as Security for the Performance of the Contract and Payment of All Costs Thereof, Upon Execution of Contract. The Owner Also Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids. Under No Circumstances Will the Owner Waive Any Informality Which, by Such Waiver, Would Give One Bidder a Substantial Advantage or Beneit Not Enjoyed by All Other Bidders. Bonding Companies for Performance and Payment Bonds Must Be Listed in the U.s. Treasury Circular No. 570. WORK SEQUENCE A. All Contractors are to follow and adhere to the following: 1. The work of the project(s) is to be completed in accordance with the following schedules. The Contractors shall execute as much of, each of their administrative requirements, i.e., contract administrative submittals, field measurements, shop drawing submittals, equipment ordering, etc., as soon as possible, in order to allow work to begin. The General Contractor is responsible for developing a master schedule of all work and trades with input from each prime, and/ or subcontractor as defined in the Project Manual. This schedule shall be completed, signed by each contractor and submitted to the Owner for review and approval no later than seven (7) days after receiving Notice of Intent to Award. 2. The General Contractor shall provide and maintain the temporary walkway and fencing around project area and site and ensure that construction traffic, storage areas, etc. do not interfere with the daily use of the building and site. 3. All Contractors are responsible for adhering to the schedule. The General Contractor shall incorporate same into their Master Schedule. 4. Liquidated damages shall be assessed in accordance with Project Manual and will begin when and if the individual completion dates are not met.
