In accordance with this Notice of Request for Qualification of Design-Build Entities, the County of Alameda ("County") hereby gives notice it is issuing this Request for Qualification of Design-Build Entities (RFQ) to evaluate the qualifications of Design-Build Entities and the Design-Build Team to select a Design-Build Entity to provide Design-Build services for the total renovation of the kitchen and food delivery area at the Santa Rita Jail facility as further described in the "General Description of the Project" section below (Project). The Work includes, but is not limited to, planning, designing, preconstruction activities, and construction services for renovating the existing kitchen and cooking area at the Santa Rita Jail (SRJ) facility located at 5325 Broder Boulevard, Dublin, California, 94568.+ The County reserves the right to accept qualification applications despite minor irregularities and omissions in the information which would otherwise serve to disqualify a Design-Build Entity. The County reserves the right to make all final qualification determinations and to determine at any time that the qualification procedures will not be applied to the Project. The County reserves the right to adjust, increase, limit, suspend, or rescind a Design-Build Entity's qualification rating based on subsequently learned information. Design-Build Entities whose rating changes sufficient to disqualify them will be notified and given an opportunity for a hearing consistent with the hearing procedures described herein for appealing an initial qualification determination.
